We are particularly proud of the history of our Villa. The main part, dating back to the early XVIII century, is even mentioned in some manuscripts by Alberto Chiappelli, kept in the "Biblioteca Forteguerriana" in Pistoia. In the course of time, the villa was extended again and again. Thus, in the middle of the 19th century, the main villa was enlarged and, somewhat at the same time, when the canon Roberto Galli was the owner of the property, a small church, dedicated to San Giuseppe (1856), was added to the ensemble of buildings. About 100 meters from us you can find the XI century Romanesque church of San Michele in Groppoli. There you can admire the oldest pulpit (1193) of Pistoia. Or you can visit the ancient and imposing Convento of Giaccherino, founded in the XV century. Tuscan history at every turn.
